State of the Union
(December 2023)

     We last made a State of the Union teaching in 2021, which can be found under “Written Teachings.”  Now, two years later, we are updating it so we can see the direction our country is heading.    

     The United States of America was founded on Christian beliefs.  God’s blessings for our country came fast and were many.  We have become a very rich and influential nation.  

     It’s a good time to introspect as a nation to make sure we are still pleasing God.  Let’s take a look at several things.   

 

POPULATION

 

BIRTH RATE -

     Genesis 1:28 and Psalm 127:3-5 show that God thinks having children is good.  In opposition, the devil wants to limit the world’s population.  

     From 2007 to 2022, the birth rate in America has gone down about 23% (CDC stats).    

 

ABORTION -

     John the Baptist’s mother and Jesus’ mother were pregnant at the same time.  This is what John the Baptist’s mother said to Jesus’ mother….  For indeed, as soon as the voice of your greeting sounded in my ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy (Luke 1:44).  This tells us that a developing baby in the womb has a spirit in it already.  Otherwise, where would the joy come from if the fetus was just a clump of cells?  Killing an innocent person with a spirit is murder, whether the person is born or not.  God does not like abortion; therefore, the devil promotes it. 

     In 1973, Roe v Wade made abortion a federally protected right throughout the United States.  Individual states could no longer say abortion was illegal.  In 2022, Roe v Wade was overturned.  Now it is up to individual states to determine whether abortion is allowed.  

     While the overturning of Roe v Wade put us more in alignment with God’s will, click here to see what President Biden has to say about it.  Research shows that 62% of Americans think abortion should be legal while 36% said it should be illegal.   

 

PLAN B PILL AND OTHER DRUGS/MEDICATIONS -

VACCINES AND OTHER METHODS OF POPULATION CONTROL -

     Let’s always remember Bill Gates when he was talking about the world’s population in 2010.  He said the world at that time had 6.8 billion people.  He said through “new vaccines, health care, reproductive services we could lower that by perhaps ten or fifteen percent.”  By “reproductive services” he was probably talking about abortions.  By “health care” he was probably talking about contraceptives and medication such as the Plan B pill.  But what was he talking about when he said “new vaccines”...hmm.  Click here to see the video.  4:31 is a good time to start watching.    

     There are other things that may also affect birth rates including fluoride in water, marijuana use, and obesity.  We have become a fluoride drinking, marijuana smoking, obese nation…yikes.    

 

IMMIGRATION -

     President Biden has opened our border with Mexico.  We are getting a great number of people coming into our country that we know nothing about.  There are some things to consider with this.  

     There are surely people coming into our country that want to hurt us.  Terrorists now have easy access into our country.  If/when terrorist attacks start happening more frequently within our borders, we can’t be surprised or feel sorry for ourselves.  We have invited them into our home with open arms.

     That God has helped make our country great seems to be nonsense to a lot of Americans.  It would be nice to know what percentage of the immigrants are Christians.  The number of people coming across the border who are Muslim or don’t respect Christianity is concerning.  If/when Muslims out-number Christians and come into power, this country may become nothing like what the founding fathers intended it to be.  Through unrestricted immigration, the devil can dilute our Christian values, while at the same time continue to limit the world’s population growth.

MONEY

     

WORLD CURRENCY -

     We know every country has their own currency (money) they use.  Banks found that handling buying/selling transactions between countries was inefficient when every country used their own money.  The banks thought it would be a good idea if they agreed on one currency to use for frequent transactions.          At the end of World War II, the U.S. had the world’s biggest economy.  The U.S. dollar was backed by gold at the time.  That meant for every dollar there was, the U.S. stored a dollar’s worth of gold.  By insuring the value of the dollar with gold, the dollar was relatively stable.  As a result, in 1944 the banks chose the dollar to be the one currency they used to make transactions between countries.  The banks started to hold dollars (“reserve” them) so transactions between countries could be made at any time.  This is how the dollar became the “world’s reserve currency.”    

     Other countries knew the U.S. controlled the dollar; therefore, they wanted to be in good standing with the U.S.  This helped the U.S. develop influence over other countries.  

     The dollar’s value was closely related to the amount of gold the U.S. held to back it.  Troubles started when the U.S. started printing and spending more dollars than they had reserved in gold.  This started devaluing the dollar.  

     The world became concerned over the devaluing of the dollar; therefore, countries started getting rid of their dollars and buying gold.  The U.S. became concerned that the world may not want to use the dollar as the world reserve currency any longer.  To prevent this from happening, in 1971 President Nixon officially stopped backing the dollar with gold.  This is when the dollar became a “fiat” currency.  This meant the dollar’s value was no longer related to gold, but instead related to the stability of the U.S. government.  As of today, the dollar continues to be a fiat currency.  Its value is determined by a blend of the U.S.’s stability and the world’s supply-and-demand.     

     When water is plentiful, it’s cheap.  But when people are dying of thirst, it becomes very valuable.  It’s the same thing with dollars.  When more is printed, it becomes less valuable.  This leads to inflation - the value of the dollar decreases so it takes more dollars to buy something.  

     Now let's look at our current money situation in the U.S.  We continuously spend more money than we have.  This means we go in debt.  To pay for our debt, we print more money.  See the danger here?  The dollar is being continuously devalued.  What if the world gets fed-up with our reckless devaluing of the dollar?  What if the countries that hate the U.S. come together and make their own world reserve currency?  What would this do to the U.S. economy?    

     Continually overspending, causing a devaluing of the dollar, is one of many methods that can be used to knock the U.S. to her knees.  Of course, our overspending politicians don’t realize they are being influenced by demons to destroy this great country.

BITCOIN -

     Bitcoin is digital money that governments don’t like because they can’t control it.  It’s inevitable the government will attack it.  Watch for cyber attacks in which the criminals demand ransom in Bitcoin to stop the attacks.  This will give the government an excuse to move aggressively against Bitcoin.

     Governments want to oversee people’s money transactions.  They don’t like anonymity.  They want control.    

 

WORKING - 

     For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat (2 Thessalonians 3:10).  Every man that can work, should work.  Government handouts may be a blessing at a particular moment, but over time it is no blessing.  

     In 2023, welfare is about 14% of the U.S.’s federal budget.  It’s more than what’s spent for national defense.    

 

ONE WORLD CURRENCY -

     One day, maybe sooner than later, an evil ruler will have authority over the whole world.  He will control the world’s buying-and-selling.  A world digital currency seems to be a logical way to accomplish this.  Those without “the mark,” who refuse to worship the evil ruler, won’t be able to use the world’s digital currency to buy-and-sell.  There are already many businesses in the U.S. who no longer accept cash, only electronic transactions.       

     It’s a good idea to plan ahead.  We should get out of debt.  We should remove our dependency on the government/grid as much as possible so we will owe less money.  We’ll need an alternative form of money or something to barter with.  These things will be necessary because we WON’T be taking the mark.

LGBTQIA+

 

     For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.  Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.  And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same BUT ALSO APPROVE OF THOSE WHO PRACTICE THEM (Romans 1:26-32).  Read the ending closely.  Not only are homosexuals worthy of death, but THOSE WHO SUPPORT THEM are too!  

     God uses the level of open homosexuality in a nation to reveal its level of evil.  He did this in Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 19:5).  He also did this in the story of The Levite and the Concubine (Judges 19:22).  The U.S. clearly approves homosexuality and other sexual perversions.  We are even mutilating the bodies of our children when demons make the children believe they are the opposite sex.  Deliverance (casting out of demons) is a way to fix these perversions.   

     There is a high amount of sexual perversion in the U.S. without much fear of the Lord.  We know at least twice God got fed-up with similar societies and unleashed His wrath on them.             

 

FAMILY

 

MARRIAGE -

     The bible is clear on the family’s chain of command.  The husband is supposed to be submissive to Jesus and lead his family accordingly.  The wife is supposed to be submissive to her husband.  The children are supposed to be submissive to their parents.  

     Family members have more God-given love for each other than they have for the rest of the world.  Increasing love is not something the devil likes; therefore, he hates families.  This is why the world says families aren’t necessary.  Research shows that only 25% of Americans feel positive about marriage, 29% are indifferent about it, and 40% are pessimistic about it.  These are staggering statistics.  Here’s more Research….

• In 1970, 67% of people between 25 and 49 were living with their spouse and one or more children younger than 18.  This has dropped to 37%.  

• In 2015, same-sex marriage became legal nationally.  Now about 1% of marriages are same-sex.

• Here’s what Americans think makes a fulfilling life…

  • 71% - having a job they like.

  • 61% - having close friends.

  • 26% - having children.

  • 24% - having a lot of money.

  • 23% - being married.

• Here’s what Americans find completely acceptable…

  • 66% - married gay or lesbian couples choosing not to have children.

  • 60% - single parent raising children on their own.

  • 52% - unmarried man and woman raising children.

  • 47% - married gay or lesbian couples raising children.

  • 41% - unmarried gay or lesbian couples raising children.

 

JEZEBEL SPIRIT -

     Jezebel spirits are behind modern feminism.  Jezebel spirits want to destroy the husband/father led family and replace it with the wife/mother led family.  The same spirits that were in Queen Jezebel when she dominated over King Ahab are in many American wives today. The Jezebel spirit is overtaking the U.S.  The idea that a loving husband should make pleasing his wife his top priority is spiritual poison.  A husband’s top priority is, and always will be, carrying out God’s will - through himself and his family.  “Happy wife makes a happy life” is a common saying that’s meant to be funny, but it’s being said more as a truth nowadays.  We need to know our roles in the family ACCORDING TO GOD, not the world.  (Ephesians 5:22-27) (1 Peter 3:1-6)   

     The Jezebel spirit in wives/mothers will be revealed when the mothers manipulate their children and teach them to disrespect their father.  This is done so the wife/mother can be in-charge and rule the house.     

HONORING PARENTS -

     Are we honoring our parents as we should?  Are we looking to become self-sufficient and wean ourselves off our parents so we don’t continue to gobble up their hard-earned resources?  Do we give them love and respect they need when they become old?  When they get old do we move them into our own home or are we quick to put them into a nursing home?  Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.  "Honor your father and mother," which is the first commandment with promise: "that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth" (Ephesians 6:1-3).

POWER OF GOD

 

     How many people desperately read the bible to help them lead a successful life?  How many people treat the bible as though it’s the only source of absolute truth?  How many people make obeying Jesus their top priority?  For those who say they do to the above questions…are you casting out demons and healing the sick?  Remember, Jesus trained His disciples to do those things.  He then commanded all of us, through the great commission, to teach new disciples to do everything He had commanded His disciples to do.  

     How many bible colleges, seminaries, and pastors obey Jesus when it comes to teaching how to use our spiritual power?  In general, the churches in the U.S. teach a watered-down gospel that gives the masses what they want to hear.  What the church doesn’t teach is how to unleash the power of God to aggressively confront on-going sin.  Few churches teach us how to fight!  If we aren’t learning to be led by the Holy Spirit so our power can be unleashed, we aren’t being taught the full gospel.

     Mostly, this isn’t being done purposefully by pastors.  As a group, they are smart, good people.  They just were never taught how to fight in the spiritual realm.  The devil knows the power and authority we have over him and his army.  Therefore, he has removed this knowledge from seminaries and bible colleges.  But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! (2 Timothy 3:1-5).       

     A lot of perversions, such as homosexuality and gender dysphoria, are tolerated because society doesn’t believe in or utilize deliverance (casting out of demons).  If we obeyed Jesus and allowed the Holy Spirit to lead us, we would know that people can be delivered of such things.  Every Christian should be honing their spiritual battle skills to not only tear down their own sinful strongholds, but to be able to intercede for others too.    

     The devil’s army is taking this world over quickly.  For this reason, every Christian needs to learn how to be led by the Holy Spirit and learn how to fight in the spiritual realm.  Turning the momentum of this spiritual war around, starts at the grassroots level.  Utilizing the power of God needs to become a normal thing in church.  Casting out demons and healing the sick have to be as much part of church as learning the Word itself.  Learning the Word is one thing, casting out demons and healing the sick is putting the Word into action!  Until then, the devil will continue to overtake us and pull our children towards hell with him.  

   

 

PRIDE

     Spiritual weakness is revealed when people get offended.  The initial hurt and anger of being wronged is normal.  But if we decide we’re justified in holding onto that hurt and anger, it becomes sinful.  This is subtle pride.  We are NOT justified or entitled to hold onto that hurt and anger, no matter how bad we were wronged.  A God-pleasing disciple quickly releases that hurt and anger.  No grudges are ever held.  Good disciples are offense proof.

     The U.S.’s spiritual weakness is revealed through the woke movement.  It seems to be based on the ability to become easily offended.  People feel justified and entitled to be offended.  Good grief…  Pride spiritually blinds people.  They operate according to their own rules rather than God’s…and feel justified doing so.  

           

 

OTHER CONCERNS

 

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE -

     If we sought the Holy Spirit for answers, there would be no need or desire to mess with artificial intelligence.  This is a rabbit hole that we won’t dive into, but it can be concerning.  

 

DRONES -

     America’s enemies know how dangerous big drones can be.  Recently, video footage can be seen of small drones operated by Ukranians dropping grenades onto Russian soldiers.  Who’s to say that a crazy American or one of the many terrorists coming into the U.S. across our open border won’t be planning drone attacks in American cities?  Imagine if a homemade bomb is dropped from a drone a few times in an American city.  It would have the ability to shut the city down.  Imagine if this is done in an organized manner throughout the country, what would the results be?

     Another concern about drones is the possibility of our government using them against us.  This may not necessarily be through physical attacks, but rather through intrusive searches.  This is something to pay attention to.   

 

THE 2ND AMENDMENT -

     Have no doubt that certain politicians would like to disarm society.  Even President Biden said the 2nd Amendment “isn’t absolute.”  This is what the 2nd Amendment says, “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”  

     Do your own research.  Your research will probably reveal that this amendment was made knowing that well armed citizens will be harder to make into slaves by a tyrannical government.  The 2nd Amendment is to keep the federal government in-check.  The federal government doesn’t have the right to limit citizens to only possess firearms for hunting.  The 2nd Amendment was meant to ensure the citizens can rise up against a tyrannical government.  

 

INCREASED USE OF DRUGS -

     Fentanyl seems to be getting all the news lately because of the large number of overdose deaths it causes.  What is flying under the radar, yet wreaking havoc, is marijuana.  Marijuana use has been accepted and normalized in much of America.  Research shows that 9 out of 10 Americans say marijuana should be legal for recreational use.  From 2000 to 2019, Americans who say marijuana should be legal, more than doubled.

     Even though marijuana is illegal on the federal level, some states and cities have legalized it.  Currently, many local police departments in Michigan no longer enforce marijuana laws because it has become so accepted by society.  The big danger to this is that marijuana opens us up to demonic influence, as do all mind-altering drugs.

THINKING “WORLD FIRST”, RATHER THAN “AMERICA FIRST” -

     There are Americans who put the welfare of the world over the welfare of our country.  Most of these folks don’t know what the bible says about the signs of the end time, the antichrist, or the tribulation.  

     Most Christians see the value of America’s Christian roots.  Disciples certainly see this.  Disciples know the world will grow to hate Christians and will persecute them.  It is no coincidence that America is the greatest beacon for Christianity in the world and the greatest nation in the world.  We have received God’s blessings.  This fact is lost to non-believers.  

     The Americans who put the priorities of the world over America strongly support the World Health Organization (WHO).  They are willing to give the WHO power over the entire world, including American.  Keep your eyes open.

     The Americans who put the priorities of the world over America will support actions taken by the United Nations, even if those actions violate America’s sovereign rights.  Watch for this.

  

 

IN CONLUSION

 

PHYSICAL PREPARATION -

     If the rapture doesn’t occur at the beginning of the tribulation, it’s good to be physically prepared to help get through it.  If you’re convinced the rapture will occur at the beginning of the tribulation, you should still prepare for hard times.  After all, times may be tough even before the tribulation starts.  What if you are raptured at the beginning of the tribulation, but family members are left behind?  Wouldn’t it be good to physically prepare for them?  

     Be prepared to not be able to buy and sell using government controlled money.  Consider accumulating gold, silver, bitcoin, etc.  You may want to store up supplies, food, ammo, etc. that you can use for bartering.  Develop skills you can utilize as a way to barter.  Prepare to live off-grid.  Do you have clean water stored and/or the ability to filter water?  Do you have access to unadulterated protein sources?  Do you have off-grid power sources?  Do you have the ability to protect yourself, your family, and your belongings?  Do you have connections with other like-minded folks so you can work together to survive while being persecuted?  Such things should be taken into consideration now, instead of at a time of desperation.

 

KNOW OUR ENEMY - 

     Looking through carnal/worldly eyes, it looks like our enemies are the liberals, Russia, North Korea, Iran, our own government, President Biden, and of course our mother-n-law (joke!).  But if we submit to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we’ll starting seeing the world through spiritual eyes.  The Holy Spirit will then reveal to us that our enemy is actually Satan and his army (Ephesians 6:12).  We can then release any hate we hold towards people, organizations, or countries and focus that hate towards the demons controlling them.  

     Christians who attack the current, godless state of affairs through carnal/worldly means are off mark. Instead, we need to start casting out demons, healing the sick, and walking in the power given to us by our Lord! (2 Corinthians 10:3-4).  Such things need to become a normal part of church.        

 

THE BOTTOM LINE -

     There is something so important that in comparison everything else could be considered meaningless.  This is LEARNING TO BE LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT.  Learning to quiet our mind to allow ourselves to sense His gentle guidance will lead us to spiritual success, whether in good times or bad times.  It’s how we get to know Jesus.  It’s how we submit ourselves to Jesus and truly make Him our Lord.  It’s the fulcrum point in which we slide from being under the law to under grace (Galatians 5:18).    

     Walking in God’s power, such as casting out demons and healing the sick, is spiritual practice.  It teaches us to be led by the Holy Spirit in much more depth compared to those who do not do such things.  Learning to be led by the Holy Spirit will allow us to be prepared for the end of times.  It’ll get us through the tribulation if necessary.  Meanwhile, it’ll allow us to intercede for others and make new disciples.  Disciples cut from Jesus’ mold, who walk in power!

     America’s obedience to Jesus is decreasing.  Therefore, we may lose His blessings.  If that happens, hopefully we will humble ourselves and REPENT.  It’s our only hope.  "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom… (Proverbs 9:10 NKJV).
